Hawks Netball Club is excited to announce a brand new sponsorship with innovative local gym Snap Fitness Oakleigh South.
The new partnership will see Hawks players and coaching staff train out of the state-of-the-art Warrigal Road facility, which is only a short distance from the club’s new home base at Stonnington Sports Centre.
Hawks head coach AJ Ballantyne said it was an important step forward for the Hawks program as it builds towards a successful 2024 Victorian Netball League campaign.
“Accessing good strength and conditioning facilities has always been a challenge, as it’s hard to find the level and quantity of strength and cardio equipment that we need in order to support three teams,” Ballantyne said.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Snap Fitness Oakleigh South for making their state-of-the-art gym available to Hawks Netball and providing players and staff with memberships that allow us access to the facilities at any time, elevating our strength program so our players can excel on court.”
Snap Fitness Oakleigh South owner and manager Ordell Buntine said he was thrilled to get behind the Hawks.
“We are super excited to be partnering with Hawks Netball Club for season 2024 and beyond,” he said.
“The girls and the coaching staff are already loving our facilities and we couldn’t be happier to have them here.”
